  • Objectives of the course


    By the end of the course, the student will be able to:

    • Identify heat transfer, mass transfer, and momentum phenomena ;
    • Describe transport phenomena at the macroscopic and the molecular level ;
    • Recognize the similarities between the three transport phenomena ;
    • Analyze problems involving transfer phenomena ;
    • Give the basic laws describing heat, mass, and momentum transfer processes.

    • Pre-requisites

      To achieve the objectives of this course, students must have certain prerequisites: 

      Thermodynamics and mathematics of L1 and L2.
