  • What is the overall goal of the study?
  • What methods were used?
  • What are the key findings?
  • How do these findings contribute to the field?

3. Introduction
  • What is the background or context of the study?
  • What gap in knowledge does this study aim to address?
  • What are the specific objectives or hypotheses?

4. Materials and Methods
  • What methods were used to collect and analyze data?
  • Are the methods appropriate for answering the research question?
  • Could the experiment be replicated using this description?

5. Results
  • What are the key findings?
  • Are the data presented clearly (e.g., graphs, tables)?
  • Are the results supported by statistical analysis?

6. Discussion
  • How do the authors interpret their results?
  • Do they compare their findings to previous studies?
  • Are there any limitations or weaknesses acknowledged?

7. Conclusion
  • What are the main takeaways?
  • Do the authors propose future research directions?
  • How does the conclusion align with the objectives?

8. Critical Thinking
  • Is the research question significant in the field?
  • Are there biases or assumptions that might affect the study?
  • How can these findings be applied or extended?

9. Practical Exercises
  • Summarize the article in 5 sentences.
  • Identify the research problem and the proposed solution.
  • Prepare 2-3 questions you would ask the authors if you could meet them.
