    Plant physiology is a branch of botany that studies the physiological processes or functions of plants. More specifically, it is a descriptive study of plant variation and structure at the molecular and cellular level, which allows for the exploration of ecological, physiological, and biochemical aspects of plants.

      • Compétences visées

        By the end of the course, students should be able to:

        - Understand the parameters that govern water supply and transport by plants (water potential, xylem function)
        - Understand the parameters that govern mineral supply
        - Understand carbon supply (photosynthesis) and the transport of photosynthetic products in the phloem
        - Have a solid understanding of the effects of the environment on plants

          For a better understanding, it is good for the student to have a knowledge of plant biology and botany.
