Introduction
As an employer, you are legally obligated to protect your employees and others from harm. Health and Safety Engineers are also required to do the same task.
Consequently, many steps are required:
Identify any hazards that could lead to harm or disease within the organization (Hazard Identification).
Evaluate the likelihood and severity of potential harm (Risk Assessment).
Implement measures to eliminate the hazard or, if elimination is unfeasible, mitigate the risk (Treatment & Control Risk).
Review controls.
