In algebra 2, we will learn about vector spaces and their
importance in understanding the concept of dimensions, basis vectors,
and coordinates. In addition, we will seriously address linear
transformations and their relationship to transformations of coordinates
and base vectors. All of this is covered in Chapter 1.
In Chapter 2, we shall proceed to a more important topic for engineers:
matrices and their role in dealing with multiple numerical or
functional quantities. The relationship between matrices and linear
applications has been addressed to provide a more comprehensive
understanding of the mathematical concept of the matrix. To further
understand matrices, we will perform some operations on matrices and
learn about their properties, such as determinants, transposes, and
inverses. In algebra 2, the importance of matrices lies in solving a
Systems of Linear Algebraic Equations, and this is covered in Chapter 3.
