1. Knowledge of some the theoretical bases of corrosion.
2. To know of different types of corrosion.
3. Knowledge of different forms of corrosion.
4. Comprehend the corrosion's thermodynamic aspect.
5. To understand the corrosion's kinetic aspect.
6. To be acquainted of the methods of protection against corrosion.
